How we work
A small consultancy trades on judgement and follow-through. Here is exactly what happens from the first call to handover, so you can hold us to it.
Free IT review
Thirty minutes, no charge and no slide deck. You describe what is slow or breaking. We ask where the time goes and what you have already tried.
Written proposal
Within three working days: scope, fixed price, timeline, and what your team needs to do. If the job is too small to be worth paying for, we will say that instead.
Build and test
Short stages with something working at the end of each. You see output early and can change direction before the budget is spent.
Handover and review
Training, documentation and credentials. We check in after 30 days to see what actually changed against the baseline.
The rules we work by
- Map the process before touching the tools. The first stage is spent watching how work really flows, including the workarounds nobody documented.
- Keep a person at the decision point. Sending, approving and committing money stay with your staff.
- Build on accounts you own. Every subscription, repository and API key is registered to your business and billed to you.
- Prefer the boring solution. If a shared template or a changed form fixes it, that is the recommendation, even when it earns us less.
- Say what data goes where. Before anything is connected you get a plain list of what leaves your systems and how to turn it off.
- Measure it. A baseline before, a measurement after, and an honest report either way.
On confidentiality
We will sign your NDA before any assessment. Client data is used only to deliver the work, our access is removed at handover, and anything involving personal data comes with a documented lawful basis and retention position under UK GDPR.

What we need from you
Projects slip for the same three reasons every time. None of them are technical.

The real process, including the spreadsheet somebody keeps on the side. We are not there to judge it, only to work with what is actually happening.
A few hours of your team's time
Usually two or three short sessions across the project, plus a training session at handover. We will tell you when and for how long up front.
